Southwest Mitts

Inspired by the symbols of my southwest home and the Navajo influence in the region, these colorful fingerless mitts bring a little bit of the desert to anyone who wears them. They also provide warmth for those chilly days. These colorwork mitts are worked in the round with two contrasting colors and a different pattern for the palm of the mitt to keep things interesting.

Many families struggle to survive in the face of extreme poverty, substandard housing, sporadic medical care, and limited educational opportunities and we can help.

Loving Kindness Shawl

I started designing this pattern at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic. I finished it during the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests. Through it all this shawl represented a way for me to meditate on love while knitting and the finished project is the perfect size to wrap up in, like a huge hug or wrap it around your neck to feel the love all day.

This is a great two color triangular shawl with a fun heart lace pattern and easy feather and fan that comes in two options: a larger sport weight shawl or a slightly smaller fingering weight version.

They spread love everywhere and anywhere it’s needed.

Garden in Glass

Inspired by an English Garden this simple lace shawl is knit in sections of stockinette, garter, and a daisy stitch pattern. It flares gently at the ends for a fun bow-tie shape with a delicate picot edging. This design really shows off the gorgeous variation in the yarn and is a perfect summer knit. You can wrap it like a scarf or use it to cover your shoulders on those chilly summer evenings.
